Okay, I admit, I had to look up this illustration friday word! But it means secretive, so this is the first thing I thought of! I love to kiss when i think no one is looking..... but I like to kiss even more when people are looking! My husband gets embarrassed by my love for him!!! ha!

Although most people enjoy red, it is my opinion that BLACK licorice is WAY better than red! But, red is a much more beautiful color, and makes the Redvines bag look much more delectable and appetizing! Yum, Yum, YUMMM!

Anything At All

This is the first in a series of illustrations that I've started for my narrative illustration assignment. I think that working digitally allows my characters to be very expressive. I'll have to push that with this story.

Trick or Treat - water color

This is my latest water color. I didn't feel like copying a reference like you do so many times with water color. I saw some pictures of kids and made up the ink drawing.I love Halloween!

Anything At All

So this is one of the big projects that I've been working on this year in school. I've written a poem that I am now illustrating. I have the whole book planned out in dummy sketches, but this is my first finished painting. The poem is called "Anything At All" and if I ever get published, everyone should buy a copy!

So this is a shout out!!!! A shout out to all of the bloggers who might have been checking my page in hope for an update, but were disappointed.... I've been slacking lately, I've been busy, but mostly lazy! Thanks to the Clark girls, you can blogg stalk me any day!!!

I just started school again, loving that, and I'm still working as a dental assistant. We are moving into a new apartment on Vaun Elm St... it's a two bedroom, which I'm going to use as my studio/art junk room!!!

And this is a shout out for FROOT LOOPS, probably the best cereal ever made!

So... I thought that the Illustration Friday topic was "Snail".... but I read it wrong, it's "Sail". OH well! Last thursday I got my wisdom teeth out, so Friday, this is what I felt like!

Illustration Friday - Topic: "Poof!"

Okay, not only is this girl's dress POOFY, but, have you ever had a moment that you just wanted to "Poof!", be gone, like you could beam yourself somewhere else in the blink of an eye?!?! Well this chick is having one of those moments! Imagine she's at a school dance, her date has just left with another girl, she's tripped on her dress, or she lost in the race for prom queen.... something that is so dramatic that she's crying in the girl's bathroom and wishing she could "poof" herself in front of the tv with a gallon of icecream and a chick flick!

Illustration Friday - Enough???

Enough icecream??? Never!!!! I had so much icecream this weekend, and yet, I keep thinking about the other flavors I could have tried!

Illustration Friday - Foggy

Who ever remembers when they go to the dentist, really? A little nitrous will put you into a fog!!! That's what happened this past week with one of our patients. I'm working as a dental assistant, and the guy nearly fell off the chair while I was trying the cure (harden) his filling!

Sourpuss

So, I've wanted to do illustration friday for a long time now. I've kept checking the website and the posts are always so fun and there are some amazing talents out there! This is my first attempt at illustration friday!!! The topic of the week is "sour". Hope you like my little sourpuss!!!

Mary Mary Quite Contrary

This is the favorite and probably most successful of the nursery rhyme series. I went this far digitally and then I've almost completed the quache and ink painting of it.

I tried to put are in an environment of a little kitchen, but it just got to busy and I didn't like it, it took away from the character.

Hey Diddle Diddle

This is the second of the nursery rhymes! I printed this off and used packaging tape and acrylic paint to add a little som'-som' to it! I liked the finished version

Little Boy Blue

Here's something I'm working on for my Independent study. I'm planning on illustrating a bunch of nursery rhymes, traditionally, then I'll tweek them in photoshop
