For those of you who don't know, I am now part of the marketing team at Idaho Central Credit Union. The Member Service Center is here in Pocatello, and what a great opportunity it has been so far! This has been the contributing factor to why I haven't got alot of drawings done lately! But I just got my studio set up in our new town house that we just bought!-So I should be making more progress! My job is nice because it's still a creative outlet for me, I'm the promotion specialist so I get to make alot of posters, flyers, and whatever random thing one of the stores needs for that day! It's fun! The people I work with are really great too! This is us!

10 Commandment Flash Cards

This is one of my latest projects, 10 commandment flash cards! My sister-in-law came up with the ideas for the images on the cards, I just made them a reality! These cute girls from Alaska and my nephew Jensen loved the cards... let me know what you think!

The images for the commandments are pretty self explanatory, except maybe the 10 - it's a 10, but the 1 is curved to look like CO, like CO-vet! And - to explain the chicken, as my seminary teacher used to say, Ten/Hen, "Do not covet thy neighbor's chicken!"

Illustration Friday - Worn

This illustration is inspired from this week's IF word - WORN and my cute little nephew Jack and his mom Emily. I'm amazed that she keeps up with his rambunctiousness and energy! But that, along with being pregnant and just barely getting over a chest cold, I'm sure she is worn out.

Father's Day

Hopefully my mailer spiked some new interest this Father's Day! This was a fun/quick little project - I want to keep developing this style, so any suggestions or comments (good or bad, do you like? or dislike?) Happy Father's Day! I have many fathers in my life that are an amazing influence in my life - Thanks to each of you! Especially my own- Love you Dad!

Cute Girl

This is just a detail from a new illustration sketch I'm working on... just for fun. But she's just too cute, I had to share her!

Animal worker sketches

I work at JR Simplot in the environmental department. There are all kinds of people who work there. One day I thought of how many cool children's book characters I could make from the maintenance, production, and operating crews that are out there. It's fun, these are just a couple of the illustration characters I drew one day... There's definitely a story brewing for this one!

My impossibility....Graduation!!!

Yes, it's true! The impossible has happened! I've GRADUATED! Well, I guess I shouldn't say I thought it was impossible, I just never thought it would come! Thanks to my wonderful teachers and supportive family and alot of late nights and early mornings! (getting to Rexburg at 8a.m. from Pocatello in the winter months got old real quick!!!

Baby Shower Invite

So, I designed this invite for my sister's baby shower that was this past weekend. I gave the watercolor as part of her baby gift and she loved it. It was fun to do, even though I don't normally do to many graphic things.

Illustration Friday - Subtract

This is another piece from my BFA show. I figured it could go with the topic for Illustration Friday: Subtract. This is a mock book cover for Nancy Drew and the secret of the old clock. She has to find out a mystery by "subtracting" this old clock from some criminals that stole it out of an old house. It's a good one!

Illustration Friday - Legendary

I thought I'd give everybody a sneak peak into my senior show that opens up this Thursday. This particular piece goes along with Illustration Friday's topic - Legendary. This is a mock book cover for Redwall - the series about brave mice and woodland creatures that try and defend their Redwall Abbey from danger!
